Cheyenne was born into a wealthy family. Her father was a successful business man and her mother was a marketing manager in a famous company. The Allens were one happy family. They spent every weekend doing different activities together. Like picnics, watching sunsets, camping, board games, et cetera, et cetera. Cheyenne loved her parents and they loved them. They were always a happy family. Cheyenne never took her life or wealth for granted. She lived her life the way she thought it should be and the way she wanted it to be.
On Cheyenne¡¦s fifteenth birthday, her father went out to get her a surprise gift. She was so excited to find out what it was her father was getting. She waited and waited when the phone suddenly rang. She rushed over to it and picked it up. On the other side of the phone was her mother, crying hysterically. She asked what was wrong, but all her mother said was ¡§I¡¦m so sorry Cheyenne. I¡¦m so sorry.¡¨ and nothing more. Cheyenne wanted to know so badly what her mother was talking about, but her mother told her nothing. Her mother didn¡¦t go home that night. The next morning, her mother was standing in the door way with a big box. She looked behind her mother, in search of her father, but no luck. In response, her mother cried again and ran out the door, placing the box on the floor before she ran.
Curiously, Cheyenne went over to it and opened the box. She gasped in awe when she saw the gift. It was her dream house. Of course, in a very miniature size. She loved it. It was the best birthday present she could ever have. Under the model were three letters. One from her mother, and two from her father. She read her mother¡¦s first.
Dearest Cheyenne, I¡¦m so sorry. I didn¡¦t mean to. Please forgive me. I really didn¡¦t mean to, I swear. I¡¦m sorry. Your father went to the office to get your present this morning, but I beat him to it. He opened the door to find me inside. He greeted my happily, but I was mad. I was outraged. He was cheating on me! I couldn¡¦t forgive him. Never. I¡K I¡K Your father and I went our separate ways. I took the cab and he drove. On the way there, your father got into a car accident, dying on the scene. The driver was drunk and he swerved into your father¡¦s car. I¡¦m sorry. Love, Jamie
Cheyenne crumpled the letter and threw it aside, tears streaming down her face. She knew her mother was lying. She could tell. Why else would her mother be so sorry? Her mother killed her father, her best friend. She knew Cheyenne and her husband were best friends. Cheyenne told her father everything! She quickly picked up her father¡¦s letter and read it out loud.
Cheyenne, My lovely daughter. Boy, you¡¦re growing fast. I¡¦m going to miss you so much when you get married, but you¡¦re only fifteen right now. I trust you¡¦ll be responsible and marry when you past the age of nineteen. I better be correct about this. I love you Cheyenne¡K Very very much. And don¡¦t you ever forget that. Anyway, Happy Birthday sweetie. I hope you like your birthday present. But¡K this model isn¡¦t your birthday present. Well¡K this is part of it. As of today, your dream house is being built. All the furniture will be in the exact same spot as the model. Every single detail would be the same. I hope you like it. I know you will. Happy Birthday again sweetie. I love you very very very much!
Love, Your father.
PS, your mother says Happy Birthday.
Cheyenne held the letter to her chest, hugging it, treasuring it, remembering every single word in it. Why did this have to happen to her father? She couldn¡¦t believe her mother. If her mother just let Cheyenne talk to him. Cheyenne could always talk him out of doing something. Her father always listened to her. Her father didn¡¦t¡¦ deserve this. She took the model and ran upstairs, locking her room door.
Her mother came back a week later with a stranger. He said he had a son and a daughter and loved her mother very much. Since then, her mother has been going home drunk with that man and hitting it off in her father¡¦s bed. She hated her mother. She was never going to forgive her. A few weeks after Cheyenne met the man, she met his son and daughter. His son, Emmet, and Cheyenne talked together and noticed they had something in common- they hated their parent. Emmet hated his father and Cheyenne hated her mother. The two talked more often and became best friends- of course, not as close as Cheyenne was with her father.
On her seventeenth birthday, the dream house was finally done. Without a second thought, Cheyenne and Emmet moved in. They would¡¦ve brought Laila, but people would think that the two step siblings hit it off and gave birth to a little girl.
One day, Cheyenne was really drunk and Emmet wasn¡¦t home. She had a one night stand with a stranger and got pregnant. She gave birth to a little girl, Jane, and raised her with Emmet.

When it comes to relationships, she's a hopeless romantic. She loves a boy who's romantic and sweet. Though, she wouldn't get into a relationship. She ¡¥s scared that she might get her heart broken- like the way she did when she found out she was pregnant.
